"Pretty good deal for 100 bucks. I wouldn't pay more than around 100 for a room or 150 for an ocean view though."

"This hotel is a good deal at the discounted rate I got through your service. We were even upgraded to the beach side at no extra charge! However, I would never stay there if I had to pay their usual in-season rates which start at $239 for a tiny room with one queen bed. This is really just a glorified motel in a beautiful setting, for which they can command high prices. The restaurant had a nice menu and our orders were of excellent quality. The lobby is also a pleasant place to sit and watch the waves."

"We stayed at this hotel before Best Western took it over.... It was nice then but to us it seems even better since Best Western has taken it over.... it is the only resort with a true beach front and not far from the the wharf & cannery row.... Sincerely Jeannete & Mark Steen"

"This is a very nice hotel for those who like be in a more isolated area. We found the ocean view rooms are pricey, however the prices are average for that area. Views from the restaurant are beautiful - lots of marine life to see while you dine!"

The Beach Resort Monterey is a three-diamond property fronting miles of unspoiled beach and three miles from Cannery Row and Monterey Bay Aquarium. Laguna Seca raceway is five miles away, Carmel is seven, Pebble Beach is nine, and Big Sur is 17 miles from the hotel. Monterey's airport is approximately three miles away.

Guests can relax in the heated pool and hot tub, workout in the fitness room, or enjoy California Cuisine in the award-winning Windows on the Bay restaurant. Sandals Lounge, an espresso bar, and room service are also available. Other services and facilities include concierge, free wireless Internet, wedding garden, conference facilities, 24-hour business center, and gift shop.
